Pictures taken from this past Houston winter (low of 50-60 degrees), my photographer best friend Lily dressed me up and showed me off. This dress was so comfortable and damn cute that I begged her to let me keep it! She is the best.
Fashion Tip: A trick to keep in mind about mixing prints: my favorite combination is florals and stripes. I know it can seem strange, but pay attention to the proportions of the prints; if the stripe is big do a smaller floral and vice versa.

ABOUT THE DRESS: I am a wearing racerback Neutral Striped Dress from one of my favorite small boutiques in Dallas called Riff Raff. Super affordable and always has the latest trends. They also have amazing gifts like Kate Spade mugs and tumblers. This stripe has strong dimensions so I kept the mixing of prints to a minimum.
Accessories are just as important as the main piece of clothing, this scarf I got is a Watercolor Floral Scarf from anthropologie and the denim jacket is from Madewell. All of these pieces can be mixed and matched with any season. Now that it is warmer, scroll down to see how I wore the dress with lighter clothes!

And Strut.

Summer is unbearably hot in Texas, so I wanted to show you how you can wear this racerback dress with a bandeau (underneath cardigan) and Keds to look more casual. The cardigan is obviously optional, but it definitely improves the color scheme. I could see a bold, long necklace to improve it as well.
Every time I wear this dress, I get compliments. I think that is because it is just such a versatile piece that I am thankful to have in my closet. Thank you, Lily!
Happy Shopping! ❤

Being from Gulfport, Mississippi I would say not anywhere near the humidity I was used to! To me it is very dry and lotion is mandatory! All day every day! lol
