The Best Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

I wanted to do a small post today about these unforgettable gluten and dairy free Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. Made by Alyssa’s Bakery, I impulsively bought these from a gelato shop called Paciugo in Houston. FYI, Paciugo has amazingly delicious soy based or water based dairy free sorbet. My favorite flavors are the Soy Panna Cotta (wedding cake), and the Dark Chocolate. It’s worth calling ahead of time to ask because they’re sometimes out. Check to see if you have a shop in your area!

Back to the cookies, they really speak for themselves. My favorite part is that they’re crap free and still taste amazing: gluten free, dairy free, non gmo, preservative free, soy free. Instead, they consist of chia seeds, gluten free oats, dried fruits, egg whites, cinnamon, and oils. I won’t lie, before trying them I was thinking there was no way they would be good. Surprisingly, you cannot even tell they are gluten free. Which is HUGE. Moist and tasty, they hit the spot and are pleasantly filling. These cookies are definitely sure to satisfy any sweet tooth craving you might have throughout the day.

No, I do not get paid for advertising about these cookies. The thought may have crossed your mind, and I understand that. The honest truth is that I would never post about a product or service unless I truly do believe in it. I have tried my hand at sales, and unless it’s something I actually care about, forget it. I’m all about the consumer.

When it comes to gluten and dairy free products, my blog is a place where I want people to go to discern if a product is actually tasty or not. There is nothing worse than going to the store because of false hopes, i.e. spending money to buy that gluten free pancake mix, going home and spending time to make it, getting all excited to eat it, and then.. it tastes like cardboard. You’ve wasted time, money, and energy. I’ve been there and it is absolutely infuriating. Hence, a pillar of my blog. If a product is not deserving of praise, it’s not going to make it on my page. End of story.

I hope you try these cookies and truly enjoy them. They’re a healthier dessert option, that’s for sure, and are made by people who get what means it to live deliciously gluten and dairy free. I’m a big fan of that.

Thanks for reading! Have a lovely day!
